Girls Run Wild

01 May 2018

An unprecedented number of girls got the chance to play football this Sunday as Faversham Strike Force FC launched its new Wildcats session at The Mount.

The club’s FA-qualified coaches played host to a fantastic turnout of 42 girls who took the opportunity to play in a safe and fun environment on the club’s 3G pitch.

Ladies development officer, Natalie Curtis, led the session and said: “To see so many girls learning new skills and playing football with their friends was brilliant. We are truly a club for the whole town and are committed to developing the girls game in Faversham to new heights”.

The session was open to all girls aged between five and 11 years old; from those who have never played before, to others who have only kicked a ball at school and some who were already with a club but wanted to play more. Anyone who would like more details about the Wildcats should email info@favershamstrikeforce.co.uk. The sessions will be held every Sunday between 10 and 11am.
